This book is an eclectic mixture of writings and ruminations by an American born chemist and environmentalist who immigrated to Brazil. He purposely became someone who might be called a multicultural old hippie living in Brazil. The book describes some of his daily life over the past 20 years (and even before). It also shows his transformation from sort of a straight rational thinking engineer into a more flexible and deeper thinker.
